Purity-IQ

Purity-IQ Incorporated, a Guelph, Ontario-based biotechnology company, has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). This ISO standard is recognized globally as the benchmark for laboratories producing valid, defensible test results.

The scope of accreditation includes strain-level identity testing of probiotics via qPCR, the use of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for identity verification of botanicals, fungi/mushrooms, and dietary supplements, as well as the quantification of maltodextrin concentration in dietary supplements, an area of increasing industry attention.

Founded in 2019, Purity-IQ has become known for its expertise in authenticity services, helping companies verify ingredient identity, purity, and consistency.

“This achievement reflects our commitment to the highest standards of scientific rigor,” said Deleo de Leonardis, CEO and co-founder. “Our science has always been strong; ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation provides the third-party validation that customers and regulators expect.”
